  Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures multiple product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords suitable for Sercos networking and other industrial networking applications. This particular patch cord is within the recommended series for networks and drives requiring a very small bend radius that is outside the specifications of standard patch cords. The fiber in this patch cord is suitable for bend radii as small as 2 mm. This particular cable series is for short distance applications such as those inside cabinets, those that require moderate tensile strength, and/or must withstand moderate physical abuse and/or exposure to chemicals. Patch cord consists of a fiber cable with a multi-core fiber bonded together to create a 1.0 mm optical bundle surrounded by a black polyethylene jacket for an overall diameter of 2.2 mm, terminated with stainless steel SMA 905 connectors. These cables are higher priced than the standard 2.2 mm polyethylene and polyamide jacketed series, but offer superior optical transmission in very small bend radii applications. These are not direct replacements for anything being sold commercially. Available to all customers and OEM manufacturing companies as a direct purchase item.
