Mount, Vertical, T1-3/4

This is one of two mounts/housings that Industrial Fiber Optics offers for coupling flexible light pipes to 5mm (T1-3/4) leaded LEDs on printed circuit cards for off-circuit board indication. The mount is suitable for LEDs oriented vertically on circuit boards of all thicknesses.

The mount is made of UL-rated nylon that is injection molded for low cost. Internal molded features provide for secure mechanical attachment to most 2- and 3-leaded, flanged 5mm (T1-3/4) LEDs. Mounts are secured to the LED by interlocking to the bottom flange with a quick press fit which is shock- and vibration-resistant.

We suggest using an LED rated at a 45 mcd luminous intensity for most applications.

Application: 5mm (T1-3/4) 2- and 3-leaded LEDs with 3mm outside diameter jacketed light pipe with 1.5mm diameter optical core.
