Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures multiple product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords utilizing plastic optical fiber suitable for Sercos networking and other industrial applications. This cable series features higher storage and operating temperature ratings than standard industrial grade patch cords. Key to these higher operating temperature specifications is the Eska™ Hi-Temp fiber cable which has a modified pmma optical core and a cross-linked polyethylene jacket with a storage and operating temperature of -55 to 105° C. Cable construction is identical to that of other plastic optical cables with a standard 1.0 mm core and 2.2 mm OD jacket.
