Industrial Fiber Optics manufactures multiple product lines of premium quality fiber optic patch cords suitable for industrial networking applications utilizing plastic optical fiber. This particular patch cord is made with a sturdy dual-jacket fiber cable specifically for rigorous industrial environments requiring high tensile strength and resistance to the elements. It contains a pair of industry-standard 1.0 mm diameter plastic optical fiber cores/cladding surrounded with black polyethylene 2.2 mm jackets, a layer of glass strands for strength and a 6 mm outside jacket of gray polyvinyl chloride. Patch cords are available in multiple standard lengths and shipped from stock or quickly fabricated from stocked inventory to meet short delivery schedules.
